Trainer

Eric Van Cangh 

Cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in IT risk management, cyber resilience, and digital transformation.

A Chemical Engineer specialized in physical chemistry, he also holds an Executive Master’s degree in IT Security, IT Management, IT Governance, and IT Business from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He is certified in COBIT 2019 (governance), ITIL (process management), and CDPSE (privacy), and has completed intensive bootcamps for CISSP and C-CISO.

Co-author of Belgium’s first socio-economic study on cybersecurity, Eric has been leading a business group within Agoria for over three years, gathering more than 110 cybersecurity companies under the initiative Cyber Made in Belgium (CMiB).

Deeply involved in the Belgian cybersecurity ecosystem, he serves as permanent Co-Chairman of two focus groups within the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition, and is a voluntary board member of Women4Cyber Belgium, advocating for stronger cyber resilience across industries. In December 2024, he was also a finalist for the "Cyber Personality of the Year" award.
